Biography

Robertson came to prominence in 2000. First of all he won the Australian under 21 title and he followed this up with a resounding 8-1 win over the vastly experienced Robbie Foldvari in the final of the Oceania play offs, thus earning himself a place on the WSA main professional tour for the 2000-1 season.

He narrowly failed to keep his place in his rookie season, but impressed many onlookers including former world champion Joe Johnson, who edged a 5-4 win over Robertson in one event.

Robertson was awarded a WSA wildcard for the 2001-2 season, but he didn't make any significant inroads and at the end of the season relinquished his professional status.
