Biography

David wrote his names into the history books in 2002, becoming the youngest player ever to qualify to appear in the IBSF World Under 21 Championship.

His reputation and record in Junior snooker already precedes him.

He has racked up a string of titles, not just in his own age group but amongst far older competition.

In 2004 Morris reinforced his growing reputation by becoming the youngest Irish champion in history.

In the 2004 European Championships in Austria, as the youngest competitor, he wowed onlookers by compiling the two highest breaks of the event, 134 and 139.

He has qualified via the RIBSA events for a WSA Challenge Tour place, but as  he didn't achieve his 16th birthday until November 2004 he was unable to take up his place.

In June 2005 he narrowly missed out on qualification to the Main Tour, losing to eventually winner, Alex Borg, in the semi final of the European Championship.
