Nick Marsh has several claims to fame,
apart from the achievement of winning the English Championship
in 2000. In that match Marsh came from 4-0 down to beat David
Lilley 8-5.
His best run as a professional came in the
1996 UK Championship, when he won ten matches, including in that
run a win over Tony Knowles 9-8, having been 8-5 down and
needing a snooker.
His victories in the Devon and UK Pairs
events came in partnership with his dad.
And he probably holds down one of the
strangest jobs for a snooker player - Nick is a 'crematoria
operator'
