2002 marked the international debut for Mike, who has competed for several years in junior and senior events throughout England.

In 1998 he was one of a number of promising junior players chosen to appear on a 'young' version of tv's Big Break show, when he won the star prize.

His favourite player is Mark Williams and having achieved his ambition to be selected for England, he now retains a wish to 'win the lottery'!
