Biography

Considering the fact that Tino - the only Belgian I've met with a Yorkshire accent - didn't start playing snooker until he was nearly twenty, he's made remarkable progress in a short space of time.

He has won his regional championship for the past two years and in the 2003 European Challenge Tour qualifying event he reached the quarter final, missing out by just one match on the chance to compete alongside the professionals on the WSA Challenge Tour.

Tino's rapid progress might in part be attributed to the amount of time he has spent practicing in the UK, alongside leading professionals such as Jimmy Michie - hence the Yorkshire accent!
