He added efforts of 36 and 26 to secure a 4-2 lead and then won the next, greatly helped by securing 25 points in fouls from Michie, who'd opened the frame with 33. The other seed to fail was Lee Walker, who slumped to a 5-0 defeat by newly promoted Joe Jogia, who is now well on course to gain a tour place next season, which would be a remarkable achievement given that he started on 0 points and will have to climb into the Top 56 in the rankings. |
