2004 Baltic Cup - Riga, Latvia - 20-22 March

Welcome to the EBSA's exclusive coverage of the 2004 Baltic Cup.

LIVE coverage of the event will commence on 21st March and we will bring you all the latest results, news and photographs from Riga.

Not only are the best players from across the Baltic region competing, but players gathering in Riga for the European Team Cup, will also be participating.

But can anyone beat the Finnish players, who've won the event in four out of the five years it's been held, including defending champion Jyri Virtanen. Only Estonia's Oliver Auns has broken Finland's stranglehold on the Baltic Cup.

Whoever takes home the cup, everyone will be a winner. Assured a warm welcome by the hospitable Latvian Billiard Federation and superb conditions in the NB Club and at the NB Hotel.

And out and about in Riga, one of Europe's most fascinating and entertaining cities, there's plenty to see and do. Fabulous historical architecture, modern development and renovation, every conceivable sporting activity, a wonderful market, countless restaurants of all shapes and sizes - sizes did I say? Riga boasts the largest fast food outlet in the world - it's in the Guinness Book of Records - so don't miss a trip to the Lido.

Can't get there in person? - check out some of Latvia's websites and live webcams - watch carefully, we'll give you a wave! See some links on the left and click on the links below to find out
