You can download your Profile form HERE. Complete and return to the email address on the form, together with a print quality photograph.

NB: Profile forms should also be sent with entry forms to the host country Associations.

Dear Members,                                                               

 

On behalf of the EBSA Board of Directors and the Austrian Association (ÖSBV), I have pleasure in inviting you to send players to take part in the 2004 European Snooker Championships.

 

I would like to remind you that it was decided NOT to implement the new IBSF Rule Changes in this Competition.

 

I enclose an entry and accommodation form (please copy as required) for a maximum entry of two players for each event + 1 “reserve player” from each Member Country, to be returned as instructed.

 

Please note that the closing date for entries is the 14th of April 2004. All outstanding Affiliation Fees to December 2003 must be paid before entries will be accepted.

 

The Austrian Association has asked me to assure you, that  they will do everything to make your visit one to remember.

Entry Fee

Please note, an entry fee of € 50, - (Fifty euros) per player will be payable to the Austrian Association, before the start of the Championships and that no player will be allowed to take part if payment is not made.

Twelve (12) Match tables + 2 Practices Tables

 

Accommodation

There will be 5 HOTELS in Völkermarkt & Unterburg – Room Prices as follow:

             2 Stars Hotels:

Single Room                             €  30,- (euros)        

Twin or Double Room                 €  40,- (euros)

Triple Room                             €  60,- (euros)

3 Stars Hotels

Single Room                            €  40,- (euros)

Twin or Double Room                €  54,- (euros)

Triple Room                            €  85,- (euros)

All above prices are inclusive of breakfast.

The Austrian Association will arrange transportation: Hotel-Venue if needed.

Transport

KLAGENFURT International Airport is the nearest Airport to Völkermarkt: About 25 Kms.

There are cheap flights on Austrian Arrows, Hapag Loyd Express and Ryanair

from: London Stansted, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Rome.

Graz Airport       (about 100 km from Völkermarkt).

Vienna Airport   (about 300 km from Völkermarkt).

The Austrian Association will arrange a shuttle bus for transportation :

Only from and to Klagenfurt Airport. Please send your Flights details for confirmation.

 

Visas

Visas are not required by most European countries but please check.

 

Food

The cost of living is still reasonable and a good meal can be secured for € 7,- (euros).

 

Currency

All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.

 

Weather

Usually beautiful weather (sunny, up to nearly 30°C).

 

Prize Money

TOTAL 10 400.00 € (ten thousand and four hundred euros) for all events.

Total Ladies           2 600.00 € (two thousand and six hundred euros)

Total Seniors          2 600.00 € (two thousand and six hundred euros)

Total Men              5 200.00 € (five thousand and two hundred euros)

1/ Ladies and Seniors - Total Prize Money: 2 X 2 600.00 € made up as follows:

Winner                                      1 000.00 €  + Trophy

Runner-up                                    500.00 €  + Trophy

Semi-Finalists         250 x 2   =     500.00 €  + Trophy (2)

Quarter-Finalists     125 x 4   =     500.00 €

High Break                                 100.00 €  + Trophy + Acuerate cue and case

2/ Men's Event - Total Prize Money: 5 200.00 € made up as follows:
