2005-6 ENGLISH UNDER 15 CHAMPIONSHIP

The English Under 15 Championship is initially played on a regional basis, in round robin groups, to get 16 qualifiers. The Last 16 to final stage will be played on Sunday 19 March 2006 and the finalists compete at the EASB Grand Finals weekend in May 2006.

The are seven regional venues used, with the number of qualifiers from each, based proportionally on the numbers of entrants received from each region. Players compete against every player in their Group, playing 3 frames. Those with the most win points qualify for the next stage. Should two players have the same points, then the result of their match is the determining factor.

KNOCK OUT DRAW

The 2005 Champion Judd Trump, has gone on to compete on the World Snooker Main Professional tour, so there will be a new name on the trophy in 2006.
